Set up Easy Web Cam as a DynDNS
client/updater.
Easy Web Cam has a built in DynDNS client, which will update your
free or paid DynDNS account. If you don't know what DynDNS is,

more info but basically it's a service that gives you a free normal URL
like MyCam.dyndns.org and redirects it to your REAL IP address.
EasyFreeWebCam keeps an eye on your IP address and if it changes, it tells
the DynDNS system and makes sure your URL always points to your real IP
address.
Start EasyFreeWebCam (latest version) and then make your way in to the
Advanced Settings area.
Now click on the DynDns.org tab at the top to get to the main area. In
here you'll need to enter your DynDNS username and password and then your
FULL free (or paid) URL which you want to keep updated.
Click on the TEST button to test your settings, you will be told
whether it worked or not. Please don't test too much as DynDNS will block
your URL if you abuse the system. |
